Today I had to make myself a tourniquet with my bathrobe sash because I cut myself so badly whilst shaving my legs.  It's been quite a few years, I should be better at this.  There was blood everywhere; it was horrible.  And I had to stop singing about Marius and Cosette's Beautiful Butterfly Love from Les Miserables so I could switch to the song ( Read more... )

So I slammed my nose into a door about an hour and a half ago, surely not one of my finer moments and certainly not worth the 3 Musketeers bar I was attempting to retrieve when it happened, and have spent the time since with an ice pack over my rapidly swelling and very very red nose which was never exactly my finest nor my smallest feature anyway.
